This location is located in the Historic District of The Springs, in East Hampton. The property is 1.5 acres and the studio was built in the early 20th century and the house was built in 1879. It serves as a museum and was once the studio of a famous East End artist. Restrictions do apply. No shoes may be worn in the studio. Bring your own slippers or the museum can also supply them. In the studio, as shown in photo #3, there are 2 large black and white portraits of the artist and his wife, on the left and the right side of the studio. If the photographs are shown and are recognizable, there is a a royalty fee TBD with a minimum of $250. The artwork can not come down, but if shot as in the first photo shown, there would be no fee. The painting in the studio is ok to show. The photo and text panels must stay in place in the studio but the plexiglass can be removed from the ante room in the studio where the shoes and art supplies are. The last 8 photos shown are of the office/house. You may not sit on the furniture. When optioning, please indicate if you are intersted in exteriors only, the studio, or the house, or any combination of the above. The studio is open to the public and please inquire about that when optioning. Although there is a view shown of a creek, the property does not go to the water and shoots must stay confined to property shown.
